Consumers across the globe faces similar challenges, mostly about minor inconveniences except in some cases serious lapses from the service provider or manufacturer.
The Inconveniences can easily be resolved, if the problems reach the top management of the product manufacturers or service providers. Reaching the concerns to them are not easy and an individual may not have the time or energy to do that.
That is what we do.
In the process we help organizations improve their consumer relations and it becomes a Win-Win for all involved. We are not trying to solve every single problem, but we make sure that the complaints are reached to the right place and remedial actions such as policy or process change are done. We ensure that proactive initiatives are taken and we communicate it through our portal.
We also capture appreciations and suggestions from the consumers to share with businesses.

Make My Trip associates not honoring confirmed Hotel Bookings!

Confirmed Hotel bookings not being honored by their Hotel Associates are a serious issue for their consumers. When the consumer reaches the Hotel after long journeys, these Hotel Associates don't give the room or demands more money etc, a kind of harassing the consumer. Such associates should be taken off the Make My Trip platform so that the consumers don't have to suffer for the misunderstandings between the Company and their associates. We are reviewing similar situations to pursue this.

Higher amounts spring up when travel is completed.

A Consumer who had hailed an UBER Taxi looking at a fare of Rs.290 got a bill of Rs.509 on reaching the destination. This happened in Bangalore. But then the consumer contacted UBER using the ?need Help? option in the app and they have promptly refunded the difference. It was a happy ending. But if you ignore you will lose. Hope this is a one off issue. We shall take up the matter with UBER if similar issues come up

Good Car Retal Service from MyGate

One of our members shared a very good experience he had with the Car Hire service from My Gate. He was extremely happy with their service as he needed a Car for travel to the Airport at 4.30 am and everything was coordinated well. Things happened on time. This was at Bangalore. We are sharing that appreciation with My Gate.

I had a very good experience with the Car Hire service from My Gate. I was extremely happy with their service as I needed a Car for travel to the Airport at 4.30 am and everything was coordinated well. Things happened on time. This was at Bangalore. Star Health not honoring claims

Star Health Insurance not honoring claims I have been having medical insurance with Star Health for several years. This year their premium has increased considerably, but they offered an instalment method. I paid my 1st instalment too. Suddenly after 3 weeks I had an emergency and was admitted in the hospital. Star Health refused the insurance saying the bill is more than the instalment. They are yet to resolve the matter.

Good response from Bangalore International Airport

I had a bad experience with one Airport Taxi from the Bangalore Airport. It was about overcharging the fare to almost double. But when I complained about, the Airport officials took action immediately. Refunded the whole amount and relived a very bad behaving driver also. Their actions were swift in correcting a mistake. Thanks to Mr. Samir at BIAL. Anyone who has any good or bad experience, please share.

Bad experience at Rock Mount Home Stay, Wayanad

I have recently travelled to Wayanad and booked a room at Rock Mount Home Stay through Make My Trip. After driving down from Bangalore I reached there by 3pm and the Owner of the Home Stay acting as he never heard of Make My Trip. Then I had to call Make My Trip and they arranged a call with the owner. For 45 minutes I was standing for the matters to clear. It is better for Make My Trip to remove disinterested associates as otherwise consumers will be falling into these traps unknowingly.
